Tot on Ladder

Recreational Classes

Cubs - Parent & Tot Class
  • Ages 1 1/2 - 2 year olds
  • Learning fundamentals of body movement, social skills, eye-hand coordination and beginning gymnastic skills
  • Parent or guardian must accompany child during class

Boy on rings             Tumble Tots

  • 3 year olds
  • Students go into gym independent of their parents. 
  • Learn basic skills on bar, beam, floor, and vault. 
  • Learn listening and cooperation skills.
Bouncing Bears
  • Ages 4-5 years old Learning independent skills, basic                       tumbling & training on all gymnastics equipment
  • USAG Level 1 introductiongirl on beam
Leaping Lions
  • Ages 6-10 years old
  • Beginner to intermediate gymnastics
  • USAG Level 1 & 2 training

Cougars

  • Age 11 and older
  • Older beginner and intermediate gymnasts that wish to continue to train in a non-competitive atmosphere

  • USAG class 7 through 4
  • Introduction to all aspects of male competitive gymnastics equipment, including rings, rope climbing, parallel bars, pommel horse, and floor exercises.
  • New Non-USAG Competitive Skills Competition

        All classes require coach placement

Advanced Bears & Lions

Hot ShotsLeap 1
  • Age 5-10
  • USAG Level 3 gymnastics training, including dance skills for       routines for non-sanctioned meets.
  • Must meet USAG requirements for flexibility and conditioning.
AerialPre-Team

 

  • Age 5-10
  • Must have 75% of basic skills & requirements for USAG Level 4 to be placed in this class
  • Must meet USAG requirements for flexibility and conditioning

USAG Competition Team Classes

Head Coach - Tyrone Burks

             Level 4
  • Minimum Age 6
  • Must have mastered all skills to compete in USAG Level 4 Sanctioned meets
  • Introduction of skills required for advancement to USAG Level 5
             Levels 5 & 61 Hand Cartwheel
  • Minimum Age 7
  • Need to pass skill evaluation for advancement to Level 5
  • USAG Compulsory Competitive Level
  • Routines set by USAG
             Level 7 & Up
  • Minimum Age 8
  • Beginning of Optional Individual Routines based on USAG Team Requirements for Competition
  • Routines for Level 7 are choreographed for each gymnast.
